BIOGRAPHY

Eng. Jan Agha Safi joined KCEC in 2007 as the CEO, where he provides support to the Chair Committee of Kaihan Construction and Engineering Company including engineering design, estimation and forecasting, and overall management of the company. Currently, Eng. Jan Agha Safi is main focal point at KCEC focuses on fund raising and the company management, as well as various proposal writing and project implementation strategy.

Eng. Jan Agha Safi has extensive field experience working as an Engineer in Afghanistan. Prior to joining KCEC, he held a Senior Field Monitor position at The UNHCR in Nangarhar province where his work primarily focused on data analysis, reporting, monitoring and support UNHCR mission in Afghanistan.

With a background in an international and national organization and self-employment, Eng. Jan Agha Safi has worked for the development of Afghanistan since his career. He also served as a focal point for CFW and senior protection clerk with UNHCR in Jalalabad and Kunar provinces in 2002 through 2004.

Mr. Jan Agha Safi has also served as an Engineering Coordinator and Manager at ISRA in Kandahar, with AERRA in different provinces of Afghanistan.

Mr. Jan Agha Safi holds a BSc. in Civil Engineering and certificates in different trainings conducted by UNHCR.
